Used Grain Hopper

One of our early original grain hoppers made to fit a H1000. This unit has done very little work and is in perfect working condition. Grain flow is controlled by an adjustable flap.

GRAIN HOPPERS
Grainbuster roto-flow grain hopper
We fabricate, in house, our very own designed grain hopper that consists of a square bin that bolts over the mill grate incorporating the flow control mechanism. The top piece of the hopper which is flared is designed to be filled using a telehandler bucket.
The hopper has a 50mm mesh floor eliminating foreign material to enter the mill. The front and back flares of the hopper have a hydraulically folding section which allows you to fully fold the conveyor for transport purposes.
The bottom part of the hopper is fitted with a hydraulically driven rotary valve. This is linked to the hydraulic system of the tub grinder allowing you to adjust the flow speed and stop/start functions from the control panel.

The grain rotor can be run in the auto position like you would in straw which has the advantage of load sensing. Installation of the grain hopper (lifted in as one unit with a telehandler) is aided by three locator holes in the tub floor that line up with three locator cones bolted to the underside of the grain hopper. Once sat in place six M16 studs can be tightened up from outside the tub securing the whole unit to the tub floor.
The standard mill grate and geyser plate remain as they do as the grain hopper fits snuggly over this. A diverter valve is fitted to the machine which directs the oil flow from the tub drive motor to the rotor in the grain hopper. All these components including the pipes, fittings, screens and an access ladder are supplied in the kit.

Front BOXES
For contractors and farmers running multiple sites a custom built front mounted box is a must for carrying everything you need and ensuring all your bits are in one place. We base these mainly around the need for transporting screens but additionally there is lots of capacity for spares, an additional fire extinguisher, a leaf blower and whatever else is required.
‘A’ frame or conventionally mounted the choice is yours. The paint finish is powder coated in whatever colour you choose but we prefer Haybuster yellow! The box can be configured exactly how you wish and we can also add your name / logo profiled on the front.
